Video: Racecar driver manages to escape fiery crash

He was lucky to get out alive…

Michael Stofflet was caught in a pretty scary situation recently at the Mahoning Valley Speedway, when his modified stock car flipped over and caught fire. His on-board camera managed to catch the whole thing…

It was undoubtedly a terrifying moment for Michael, but thankfully he managed to escape without any serious injuries. In fact, he brought the car back to the pits, fixed it up and continued on with main event like an absolute boss. He even came 5th overall.
Here’s what he had to say on YouTube: “I am ok. It happened during the heat. We got it back in the pits and me and my crew got it back together in 25-30. Took hot laps it worked well and then ran the feature and it was a touch loose and ended up 5th”.
Talk about balls. Great balls of fire, if you will…
