GolfBoard is electric skateboard-style golf cart for new-age golfers

Riding a golf cart on the green seems so primitive with the introduction of GolfBoard. The easy to operate GolfBoard has lesser impact on the course in comparison to a golf cart and it has been designed especially to speed up the game of golf. With the GolfBoard designed by Mike Radenbaugh, hip golfers now have a new way to cruise through the course in a feel similar to snowboarding or surfing. The electric GolfBoard features a 4 wheel drive (with a pair of 36-volt DC motors) and has relatively bigger, and softer tires to commute quicker with least damage to the greens.

Steering the GolfBoard is pretty simple – you just lean into the direction you want to go. The cool new electric board will be accompanied with a Bluetooth handheld device, which will allow golfers to de-accelerate and reverse the GolfBoard which can muster a top speed of 12 mph (19 km/h). The board draws power from a 25,000-mAh lithium-ion battery, which charges fully in under two hours and is good enough to take the golfer around the 18 holes on a single charge.
Thanks to its off road tires, the GolfBoard maintains traction on wet grass and courtesy its low center of gravity you can be sure that your board or bag will never trip over. As a user you can choose to ride the GolfBoard with bag mount and stability handle, by throwing your bag around the shoulder or taking a free ride with Bluetooth controller in one hand and the new-age single universal adjustable club on the other.
The GolfBoard is up for crowdfunding on Kickstarter. It is scheduled to cost $3,350 when it’s ready to roll on the course.
