The “Smarter Cities” Billboard Campaing From IBM
When we were kids, it was a much simpler time. Billboards were flat, and IBM made computers. Now it remains somewhat of a mystery as to what IBM does. Their commercials make it seem as though they’re seeking government contracts to rewrite traffic light algorithms and police patrol routes..?
IBM continues to maintain their elusiveness in the streets of London and Paris, where they put a unique spin on a standard billboard campaign by adding form, and in turn, function to their “Smarter Cities” advertisements. By adding a curve or a slant, they’ve created practical enhancements to the urban landscape that people can interact with: a rain cover, bench, or ramp.

Extreme Highlining
Highlining will be a technique in balance that usually employs nylon webbing tensioned between two anchor points. Highlining is different from tightrope walking for the reason that the string is not placed tight, it is actually rather dynamic, extending and moving similar to an extended and narrow trampoline, making the whole process more extreme.
Orlando Da Costa – Goal From an Impossible Angle (Concordia vs Pandurii)

Rafael Nadal hits unbelievable shot at U.S. Open
It’s not too often that you see a ball actually go around the net instead of over it… but leave it to Rafa to come up with this miraculous defensive winner.
The dude’s got some sort of magic pixie dust on his strings that can get the ball to move through the air like it belongs in a game of Harry Potter Quidditch. No wonder Rafa is undefeated on hard courts in 2013. Even if you’re not a tennis fan, if he’s playing in a major… you watch him.
The living cube
There are a lot of studios out there that do not have a lot of space for storage. This project called “The Living Cube” was made specifically for a studio with no storage space, so that the small living area could be utilized much more effectively. There are plenty of shelves, a walk-in closet, and the bed is on top of the entire thing.
Ring Clock
The innovative Ring Clock originally crossed our desks a few years back as nothing more than a viral product concept. It now looks as though designer Gusztav Szikszai is looking to bring the concept to market as demanded by the fans. The ring is constructed from durable, surgical-grade stainless steel, and is comprised of three rotating rings that will display the hour, minute and seconds through the use of either blue or orange LED lights. The Ring Clock is equipped with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery that can be charged wirelessly (when set atop the included charging dock), and will last up to a full week on just a single charge. The ring is completely water resistant, and will be available in 21 different sizes if it the design team meets their funding goal throughIndieGoGo. View the video below.
GolfBoard is electric skateboard-style golf cart for new-age golfers
Riding a golf cart on the green seems so primitive with the introduction of GolfBoard. The easy to operate GolfBoard has lesser impact on the course in comparison to a golf cart and it has been designed especially to speed up the game of golf. With the GolfBoard designed by Mike Radenbaugh, hip golfers now have a new way to cruise through the course in a feel similar to snowboarding or surfing. The electric GolfBoard features a 4 wheel drive (with a pair of 36-volt DC motors) and has relatively bigger, and softer tires to commute quicker with least damage to the greens.

Along with 33 guests, the couple arranged a roped off area at the Bristol branch where they ordered burgers, fries, chicken nuggets and milkshakes. The meal cost only $233 and the manager gave the couple a bottle of champagne to congratulate them.

World’s Longest Dreadlocks
“Meet hair fanatic Asha Mandela – whose 55ft locks are longer than a London BUS. But despite owning a world record, the 47-year-old wants to go BIGGER – even though doctors warn she could PARALYSE herself. Asha refuses to cut ‘her baby’ though – saying it has helped her overcome cancer, two strokes and two heart-attacks. Her hair weighs almost three stone – the weight of a reception-age child – and takes two days to wash and dry. She also worries that someone with a ‘hair fetish’ will cut a chunk off when she is not looking.” — Barcroft TV
