A lot of people find it strange that the 80’s actually happened over three decades ago, which shouldn’t come as much of a surprise seeing that the style is still present, even among the youth. Granted, it’s a retro style, but the 80’s spirit is alive and well nevertheless.
A lot of the 80’s stars are still famous to this very day, others saw their fame fading and fans wondering just where exactly they have gone. So it’s time for a now-and-then gallery, buckle up and take a trip with the 80’s movie stars.
Val Kilmer
Whether you know him as the cute kid from Real Genius, Jim Morrison or Batman, Val Kilmer has surely seen better days as far as his shape goes. But nevertheless, the Iceman from Top Gun is still ranked among the hottest 80’s stars.
Dan Aykroyd
The Ghostbusters star and one of the iconic Blues Brothers, Dan Aykroyd, hasn’t changed too much since the 80’s and is still easily recognizable. Apart from a few extra pounds, he’s still that same funny guy.
Tom Cruise
Tom Cruise is just one of those guys that seem immune to aging. Even in 2013, the 50-year-old Top Gun star is still looking as sharp as ever.
Sylvester Stallone
Aged 66, Mr. Stallone still has that tough guy appeal, even today, 35 years afterRocky premiered in cinemas. These days, Sylvester proves he can still deliver a badass performance with blockbusters such as The Expendables.
Kevin Bacon
It’s been almost 30 years since we saw Kevin Bacon dancing like there’s no tomorrow inFootloose. The movie definitely stood the test of time, and Kevin isn’t doing too bad either, as you can see yourself.
Mark Hamill
You might say that the only role Mark Hamill will ever be remembered for is the role of Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars saga, but seriously, isn’t just one lead role in cinematic all-time classic enough? Although young Skywalker isn’t all that young anymore, he is still recognizable as one of the most iconic movie heroes ever.
Michael J. Fox
Marty McFly may not be in high-school anymore, but he still knows how to rock the house. Of course, it’s Michael J. Fox and his 1985 Back to the Future role we’re talking about. You may also know Fox as Mike Flaherty from “Spin City” TV show.
Married With Children Cast
It may be a thing of the 80’s, but even today, everyone knows what Married with Children is all about. It’s about good fun of course, and you can’t say that you don’t remember the crazy Bundy family, with Peggy, Kelly, little Bud and big Al Bundy wearing his No Ma’am t-shirt.
Arnold Schwarzenegger
He may no longer be that muscled outcast named Conan the Barbarian, but Arnold Schwarzenegger is still the man, and always will be. A professional bodybuilder, actor, Governor of California, businessman, investor, the 65-year-old icon did it all.
